Kitzbühel's mountain landscape is an absolute paradise for hiking and biking enthusiasts – more than 1000 km of class A hiking trails and many kilometres of cycle tours for all abilities are waiting to be explored, topped off with Tirolean hospitality and tasty treats to be found in the region's mountain lodges. The Alpine Flower Garden on the Kitzbühler Horn is particularly beautiful.
Tirol's warmest moorland lake is well worth a visit any time of the year. Come for a swim, a run or simply enjoy the setting. In the winter months there's ice skating, ice stock sport and winter hiking.
